King was a loving, kind soul -- very easy-going, laid back kinda guy. King loved hiking in the woods, chasing bumpers in the front yard, and begging for a bite of your sandwich! He particularly loved retrieving birds and working in the field. King also loved spending his time as a certified therapy dog and regularly visits nursing homes, memory care wards, elementary schools, and colleges!
King was a moderate, typey example of the breed. Structurally, King had a stunning head piece, a rock solid topline, and lovely angles. He was clean coming and going, and has excellent movement with balanced reach and drive. King had a sweet disposition, exceptional focus, and is very biddable. King exemplifies the versatility of the breed by combining beauty, brains, and personality.
King excelled in the conformation ring starting with winning Reserve Winners Dog at the 2013 Flat Coated Retriever Society of America National Specialty in Georgia.
King completed his CH with 3 majors, and completed his GCH in less than 3 months with 6 majors. He easily completed his Bronze GCH and completed his Silver GCH in less than a year of limited showing.
King was greatly loved by the Kuchinos family. Not only was King a record maker and breaker, but he was truly a joy to live with. He earned his wings too soon, and will forever and always be greatly missed.
